Loved it!! Highly recommend

I gotta admit that the cover of the story had me intrigued from the get go.it really got my attention and after i read the synopsis i had to know this mans/creatures story. And let me tell you i was not disapointed. Is my first book from sandra and i loved it. Carnage is a wonderful character. I love that he is so sensitive, vulnerable, loving, sweet and open with his leenah. And yet is also a fearsome and powerful creature. The other characters also captured my heart

This book gives you that feeling you love while reading a fairytale but in an entirely different story. I absolutely loved this book. Definitely added this one to my favorites. And I can't wait for the second story in this series.

I will also be checking out this author, because if someone can create this story I'm excited to see her other stories.

I would recommend this book to anyone really. It's just that awesome. The characters are interesting and it isn't something you've ever read before.

Waste of $2

Waste of $2. Poorly written with constantly flipping POV. Reads like a first grader book. Did not finish. Very one dimensional, see spot run, sort of writing.

I love Gargoyles but now I have a completely different outlook on them. This story was so good and the characters were just amazing! The twist on the creatures of legends was just enough to make them unique and it was interesting to see the amount of different elements that were introduced in one story without it losing track of the main characters. This book is filled with humor and emotion but most importantly it's a great romance. I never expected to fall in love with a creature that looked l ...more

Upon recommendation in one of the groups I belong to on facebook, I decided to take a chance on Carnage by Sandra R. Neeley, and could not have been happier. The blurb certainly looked like something right up my alley, but then I started reading it, and was most willingly sucked right in to the story. Something I must confess is that I am not a big fan of historicals, and it was not until after opening the book for the first time that I noticed it was one, and was immediately worried. However, t ...more

I never thought that I would find a sexier supernatural than a wolf shifter or vampire, but I have. The sexy gargoyle Carnage changed my mind. There was just something about his alpha protective ways that reached my heart. The way he claimed his Lenna was awesome. There were so many sweet, sexy , and mysterious times in this book. I am lover of supernatural stories that surround my home state and neighboring Louisiana. This story makes me want to take a weekend to the swamp, and see if I can't f ...more

DNF at 30%

I was lucky to read several good books in a row, including superb Iron and Magic, so, I guess my tolerance level for beyond mediocre is at the lower end.

I love gargoyles and Carnage is a sweetie but something about the writing itself is rubbing me raw – small town/ bayou setting does not automatically require simplifying character’s depiction and dialogue to such extent that it stops being charmingly naïve and becomes annoyingly childish with a hefty dose of stupid. A villainous hick

Amazing must read so good book

What an incredibly awesome story. Carnage has moved into my top 5 all-time favorite books. The way Sandra writes the reader looses themselves in the story and the characters come alive in your mind. Absolutely love how Carnage doesn't shift from a gargoyle into a ' man' and we still fall in love with him sexy horns and all. Really jealous of Carolina... but then again there's Destroy & Murder to fall for... And Enthrall.. yummmmm... have I mentioned that I absol
