Decent Novel

I wasn't sure what to expect, with this being a free release on Amazon. I was entirely disappointed, however I felt for the amount of emotion that the book was attempting to portray, I wasn't connecting with the characters. Not to say this is a bad book, it's just far from a emotional rollercoaster that I felt the author was attempting to make it be.

I would give this novel 10 stars!

Maisey has to make a heartbreaking decision to allow her Mom, Leah to move on to Heaven.

That is only the beginning.

Leah has been loved by so many, and especially her dear husband Walter, but the secrets she carries need to be released in some way to explain her decisions from the past, and die in peace. “I am who I am, and I have done what I have done."

Whose Fault Is It?

Whisper Me This is a moving story. It's message is clear. Women are not to be hit, maligned, put down or made to feel less than. The story is cleverly told by three generations of women. It's not easy to break away and there are men who seem to have radar that allows them to see women who will not make a fuss, who will make excuses for them and who will believe it is their fault. It is never your fault. Someone else's behavior is never your fault.

The character development is go

I chose WHISPER TO ME for my July free Amazon Prime book and probably wouldn’t have read it otherwise. I tried not to let that affect my review.

At its heart, WHISPER TO ME is about domestic violence, how it affects the victims and children, as well as the choices those children make when they become adults.

Maisey’s mother may not have technically been abusive, but she suffered the trauma of an emotionally abused child and carries that with her into adulthood. Most of the characters are

Like a lifetime movie, but complicated like real life

A story about complex families and multi-generational recovery. The story was engaging. The main characters were real and 3 dimensional.

Excellent Read!

The multiple, yet linked, storylines here were expertly woven together and so compelling I literally couldn't put it down, read it all in one day (and night)! The essential subject matter -of abusive relationships- is something you would not expect to have any sort of uplifting or inspiring twist to it, and yet, the author does accomplish just that - while your heart is broken throughout the book over various characters and their horrific or crushing experiences, the hope and joy

For Pete's sake.

I knew this book was about all sorts and types of domestic violence. I once upon a time lived through several abusive relationships, so I wanted to see how this book handled it. (It was a free book, thank heavens.)

Major issues.

1) Do NOT have a character come to bury her mother, take care of a father with the beginning states of dementia, and by day two talk about your tingly bits feeling something for someone you just met a day ago. Girl, you're crazy.

2) Do not allow your 12-yea
